I wonder who teaches

Doctors to hide away

Behind their awkward

Slanted chicken scratch

In a limited choice of

Blue or black inklings

Filled in hurriedly

As polite euphemisms

Deciphered by the

Pharmacist who dispenses

50 mg of pill-sized hopes

To be taken once a day

On an empty stomach
